The first batch of the Novitiate was started here on May 30, 1981. This house was blessed and officially inaugurated by Mar Jacob Thoomkuzhy, Bishop of Mananthavady on February 27, 1982.

Goal: “Taste and see that the Lord is good” (Ps. 34:8). “It is well that we are here”(Mk.9:5). To enable the novices for spiritual transformation. Theresian, Indian life and vision bring about radical and revolutionary transformation

Mar Emanuel Pothanamuzhy, Bishop of Mananthavady granted the permission to start this house at Kalpetta. The foundation stone of this Ashram was laid by Fr.Paul Mundumoozhikara, the then Provincial Superior on October 1, 2002. Tabore is the 1st year Minor Seminary of the St. Thomas Province.

Vision: “Come and see” (Jn. 1:38) - Nourish the seeds of divine call.

Christu Niketan was started as a Social Centre in 1984 to uplift the poor villagers, to organize the farmers and to encourage scientific cultivation in the area. It was raised to an Ashram on April 3, 1989. The Ashram Parish was inaugurated by Mar Jacob Thoomkuzhy, Bishop of Mananthavady on February 19, 1990.

Vision: “Call the labourers and pay them their wages beginning with the last up to the first” (Mt. 20:8). - Uplift the unorganized farmers and lead eco-friendly life.

Sancta Maria Ashram was blessed by Mar Jose Porunnedom, bishop of Mananthavady on March 15, 2011. This ashram envisages a Psycho Spiritual Bhavan, Pastoral Counselling centre, Naturopathic Treatment and Herbal Garden. This centre was realized as a dream and wish of Madame Marie Elisabeth Hantz at Windstein in France who donated her property to St. Thomas Province.
