CST FATHER ST THOMAS PROVINCE




Flood relief works organised by St. Thomas Province



 When Kerala was badly hit by the flood and landslides in the month of August, we, CST Fathers actively participated in the flood relief activities. Under the leadership of Samaritan Pain and Palliative, Nellikkunnu Fathers and its members did precautionary steps before the flood through transportation, making relief camps, announcements, taking care of the sick etc. After the flood we cleaned the houses, shops, dispensaries etc. St. Thomas Ashram, Kottoor made as a relief camp for the people in Sreekandapuram.  

Since Kavalappara was severely affected by landslide Little Flower Novitiate House, Chathamunda was a registered relief camp and it was a centre for many Fathers, Sisters and people to take part in relief works. Fathers from different ashrams and Schools participated in relief works.
