Sirumalar Illam at Karur was started with a mission to enlarge the social and educational ministry of the Province in Tamil Nadu. Little Flower Matriculation School was inaugurated and blessed by Mar Jacob Manathodath, bishop of Palakkad on May 29th, 2006.In addition to Matriculation School, a CBSE School, a social centre with manifold programmes function here.

Vision: “Let the children come to me’(Mk. 10:14)- To illumine the children and youth in the light of the gospel.

INSTITUTIONS

1. Little Flower Matriculation School

Little flower matriculation school was inaugurated and blessed by Mar Jacob Mnanathodath, Bishop of Palakkad on May 29th 2007. Our School motto is “You are the Light of the World”, which is imbibed from the Holy Bible (Mathew 5:14). Children / Students are the light of the society. Our vision is to ensure a natural holistic student centered learning environment that empowers and inspires our students to be creative and innovative in achieving an integral formation.

2. Little Flower Social Centre

Little flower social centre was inaugurated by Mar Paul Alapattu in 2014. Aim of our social centre is to organize our social services and to provide support for the marginalized groups such as the handicapped, the poor and the down trodden. We organize several social upliftment programs to improve social, cultural, economic and spiritual aspects of the deprived.

3. St. Antony’s Church, Karur

Village Development Programme :

This project was executed by the province with the intention of helping the poor villagers of that locality. This is the first house and working station of our province in Tamilnadu. The development program was entrusted to a group five selected members from the village itself. This group was legally registered. This group functions under the guidance of our province.
